Lifetime Vision Center

All of the girls at work decided to get antlers to wear during the holiday! From left to right--Diane, Mary Ann, Monique, Doronia and Me!

We persuaded the Doctors to try them on...Dr. Gore (lady) and Dr. Morris (man).

Last year we made a gingerbread house...this year went for something that was a little less work! it ended up SO cute!

A Little Late but...Merry Christmas!

We had a great Christmas!! We were afraid that it was going to be a sad one--my Grandmother fell about a week and half before Christmas and ended up in the hospital in pretty bad shape. We thought we were going to lose her, but she is a tough old bird (that is what we've been calling/telling her). She wasn't able to be with us this year, but we are very happy that she is recovering and was dismissed from the hospital today! Here are a few pictures!

He would die if he knew this was on here....

There is a story behind her and this zombie book...just ask and I'll tell you!

Mom was so shocked that she finally got a Wii!

Alan had been joking for about a month that I was getting "snuggie" for Christmas. I kept telling him if I did I was taking his gifts back and spending the money on myself. He reasoning was that I since I was always cold, the snuggie would keep me warm--and that this Christmas wasn't about what I wanted, but about what I needed...Well, he did one better...he made me one!

He did the same thing with my Mom--except that she needed a gopher--he made her one too!

Mom and her touchdown dance.

FOOTBALL RULES!
Sadie Sue and her tutu. We'd joked around with my brother that we going to get her one. We never dreamed that she would actually like it!

7 years!

Today is our 7th anniversary! I really can believe how fast time as flown by! It has not been an easy 7 years, but I know that it has made us not only strong people but also a stronger couple. But when I look back, I can count many more good times than bad! Alan, I love you and thank you for making me your wife! I can not wait to see what the next years will bring us

Which one should be our Christmas card?

Here are few of the pictures Laura took...there are a couple that are marked "contenders" for our Christmas cards. I know which one I want to use, but a co-worker said that you couldn't see Alan's face so now I'm rethinking my pick! Anyone care to place their vote? Speaking of Christmas cards, if you would like to exchange one let me know!

I'm really cheesing in this one.
Sweet!

Another contender...
This one is a contender...
I love the trees in this one...

Sweet huh?

This one is sweet too...

One of my favorites!

Pictures from our day in Leachville!

A couple of weeks ago, we went to Leachville (AR) to visit my best friend Laura. Since we were going, we took the opportunity to take some pictures. We needed a good picture for our Christmas card and Laura wanted some of her and the boys, so she and Alan traded services! Laura has a small photography business--she is really talented! Anyhow, we had a great time. We enjoyed playing with her little boys--Jax and Michael. The pics in this post are the ones Alan took!
